We first spotted the OnePlus Nord 3 in SIRIM’s database back in April this year, and today, the upper mid-range phone is finally official. Sporting a fast MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip with good value proposition, the Nord 3 is quite an intriguing phone, and it’s coming to Malaysia.
Only one variant of the Nord 3 will be available in Malaysia. Sporting 16GB RAM and 256GB of storage, it retails at RM2,199 on our shores. It is offered in the sole Misty Green colour option you see below, which features a glossy back.
For that kind of money, the Nord 3 is powered by the aforementioned Dimensity 9000 chip, which is a flagship-tier processor. We’ve spent quite a bit of time with the phone before its launch today, and it does feel fast and zippy. It’s no exaggeration to say that the phone feels just as fast as a flagship device.
Other specifications of the Nord 3 include a 6.74-inch 2772 x 1240 Super Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system with the same 50MP primary sensor as the higher-end OnePlus 11 – paired with an 8MP ultra-wide shooter and 2MP macro lens – a 16MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
The OnePlus Nord 3 will be available for pre-order in Malaysia later today at 10PM alongside the equally new OnePlus Nord Buds 2r. Early birds who purchase the Nord 3 by 9 July will also receive a OnePlus Nord Buds wireless earbuds for free.
