Surprise: after appearing in SIRIM’s database, the Apple Watch Series 10, AirPods 4, and AirPods Max are now available for purchase in Malaysia through Apple’s online store. However, only deliveries are offered at the moment; customers can’t opt to pick up the products at Apple The Exchange TRX just yet.

Previously starting at RM1,899 for the 41mm version, the Apple Watch Series 10 retails from only RM1,799 for the (now upsized) 42mm base variant; that is a RM100 price drop for a brand new model of the smartwatch. As for the larger 46mm Series 10, it starts at RM1,949 versus the 45mm Series 9’s RM2,049 starting price. If you want the brand new titanium Series 10 with a sapphire crystal display, well, that will set you back a cool RM3,299 or RM3,549 for the 42mm and 46mm models respectively.

Measuring 9.7mm thin, the Apple Watch Series 10 is said to be almost 10% thinner than Series 9; the new titanium option is also about 20% lighter. Oh, the wide-angle OLED display is larger and brighter now too, allowing the smartwatch to show an extra line of text onscreen. Powering the Series 10, on the other hand, is a new S10 chip with a four-core neural engine.

Other features of the Series 10 include a polished aluminium finish, a metal back, the ability to detect sleep apnea, and a new charging coil design to enable faster charging. According to Apple, 30 minutes of charging is enough to juice up the battery to 80%.

As for the AirPods 4, it’s also quite a bit more affordable than its predecessor, starting from RM599 for the standard version. If you want the ANC model instead – a curious feature, given that the earbuds have an open-ear design – it will set you back RM829.

Aside from ANC, the AirPods 4 also promises improved audio quality thanks to an “entirely new acoustic architecture, low-distortion driver, and high dynamic range amplifier,” as Apple puts it. The wireless earbuds are powered by Apple’s H2 chip now too, which adds Voice Isolation for clearer call quality, as well as Siri Interactions where users can simply nod yes or shake their heads no to respond to Siri announcements.

And then there’s the updated AirPods Max. For the same RM3,499 asking price, the wireless headset now comes in a slew of new colours, including midnight, starlight, blue, orange, and purple. On top of that, the Lightning port has finally been swapped out for the more universal USB-C connection.

The AirPods 4, USB-C AirPods Max, and Apple Watch Series 10 are now available for purchase through Apple’s online store. From what we gathered, deliveries will commence from 14 October, and we reckon these products will be displayed at Apple The Exchange TRX very soon.
