After launching the Realme 13 Pro lineup in Malaysia last month, the Chinese company is gearing up to introduce the more affordable non-Pro Realme 13 series on our shores next week on 17 October. Made up of the Realme 13 and the Realme 13+, the latter is said to be the official gaming phone for the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship.

Looking at the teaser image shared by Realme Malaysia, it shows the Realme 13+ in the Victory Gold colourway. The brand also mentioned that the phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300E chip, mirroring the chipset used by the phone in India. As for the regular Realme 13 – which should be more affordable – it features a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip instead.

Aside from that, Realme highlighted that that the Realme 13+ supports 90fps mode in several mobile games. These include Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and Call of Duty: Mobile. Honor of Kings, on the other hand, can be played at 120fps with the ultra graphics preset selected on the Realme 13+.

The Realme 13 series will make its debut in Malaysia next week on 17 October. Of course, there’s no word yet on the Malaysian pricing of the Realme 13 and Realme 13+, but for what it’s worth, the Realme 12+ retailed at RM1,499 when it was first launched here – there’s a chance the Realme 13+ will be priced in the same price range.
