Back in July, we spotted the Realme 13 Pro+ in SIRIM’s database. Fast forward to now, the phone – alongside the standard Realme 13 Pro – is available in Malaysia. While the Realme 13 Pro+ is strikingly similar to the Realme 12 Pro+ released back in February – including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset – it does have a slightly different design with new camera hardware.

First, prices. The base Realme 13 Pro is priced at RM1,999 with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, while the higher-end Realme 13 Pro+ goes for RM2,299 with the same RAM and storage configuration. While both phones share quite a bit of hardware, there are some key differences, including the camera system and charging speeds.

Take the Realme 13 Pro+, which features a triple camera system made up of a 50MP Sony LYT-701 primary shooter, a 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The Realme 13 Pro, on the other hand, has a more modest dual camera system (50MP Sony LYT-600 primary + 8MP ultra-wide), and 45W charging instead of the Pro+’s faster 80W charging.

Beyond the camera and charging speeds, both the Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ feature the same hardware. These include a “Monet-inspired” design, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, a 6.7-inch 2412 x 1080 OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 5,200mAh battery.

The Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+ are now available for purchase in Malaysia for RM1,999 and RM2,299 respectively.
