Samsung just revealed that the next Galaxy Unpacked event is happening exactly two weeks from now on 10 July. The Korean company also mentioned that its Galaxy Z series of foldable phones – along with “the entire Galaxy ecosystem – will be infused with Galaxy AI, which gives us an idea on what to expect at the launch event.
While the debut of the new Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 come as no surprise at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked, we’re intrigued by the bit about infusing Galaxy AI into the entire Galaxy ecosystem. Could this be a hinting at the possibility of seeing the Galaxy Ring at the launch? After all, the smart ring has been tipped to be launching sometime this year.
Coming back to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, the two foldable phones are expected to feature minor upgrades. The bigger Z Fold 6 is said to feature a more angular, boxy design now, while the Z Flip 6 will retain the same design language with the addition of a larger 3,790mAh battery; an upgrade over the Z Flip 5’s 3,700mAh cell. Of course, Galaxy AI should be integrated into the two foldable phones too.
As usual, Samsung Malaysia is running an early bird bonus for those who register their interest to pre-order the upcoming Galaxy Z series. Up to RM500 Samsung e-voucher is up for grabs – which can be used to purchase said Galaxy Z phones – along with a chance to win daily mystery gifts worth a total of up to RM27,000.
The next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is happening in two weeks’ time on 10 July. The launch event will be livestreamed on Samsung Malaysia’s official website, YouTube, Facebook, as well as Instagram at 9PM Malaysian time on that day.
