Apple’s new yellow colourway for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are now available for purchase in Malaysia. This time around, only the non-Pro iPhones get the new colour, so the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max don’t see the addition of any new colourway.
With the introduction of the yellow colour option, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are now available in six different shades. These include midnight, starlight, Product Red, blue, purple, and the all-new yellow. Quite a colourful lineup that’s sure to appeal to most folks.
On paper, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are very similar to the iPhone 13 series: they soldier on with the same A15 Bionic chip that made its debut last year. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, of course, given the sheer processing power of the chip – even high-end Android phones have trouble matching the performance level of the A15.
Beyond that, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus also feature a new 12MP primary sensor, which promises superior camera performance, especially in low light conditions. The ultra-wide angle lens offers better low light performance too, and the 12MP TrueDepth selfie camera is now packed with autofocus capability – say goodbye to blurry selfies.
The yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are now available for purchase on Apple’s Malaysian online store with a RM4,199 starting price. Chances are, retail stores should have the new colour in stock now too. If you’d like to learn more about the iPhone 14 Plus, check out our full review.
