iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 Plus Now Available in Yellow – Pre-Orders Start 10 March in Malaysia
March 7, 2023 Andrew Cheng

Apple just introduced a new yellow colourway for two of its iPhones: the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Curiously, only the non-Pro iPhones get a new colour this time around, so the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are not getting any new colour option.

With the addition of the new colour, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are now available in six different shades. These include midnight, starlight, Product Red, blue, purple, and the all-new yellow. Quite a colourful lineup that’s sure to appeal to most folks.

On paper, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are very similar to the iPhone 13 series: they soldier on with the same A15 Bionic chip that made its debut last year. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, of course, given the sheer processing power of the chip – even high-end Android phones have trouble matching the performance level of the A15.

Beyond that, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus also feature a new 12MP primary sensor, which promises superior camera performance, especially in low light conditions. The ultra-wide angle lens offers better low light performance too, and the 12MP TrueDepth selfie camera is now packed with autofocus capability – say goodbye to blurry selfies.

The new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be available for pre-order in Malaysia from 10 March at 9PM onwards with the same RM4,199 starting price; it will hit store shelves next week on 14 March. If you’d like to learn more about the iPhone 14 Plus, check out our full review.
