Thanks to the government’s ease of restrictions on the automotive sector, Perodua has resumed its operations. According to the carmaker, “nearly all existing orders” will also be delivered within this year – great news for those who have been eagerly waiting to receive the popular Perodua Ativa.
This is confirmed by the CEO and President of Perodua, Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad. “We thank our customers for their patience, understanding and loyalty in receiving your Perodua vehicle. We expect to be able to deliver nearly all existing orders within the year,” he said.
Dato’ Zainal also added that Perodua has started deliveries in stages this week, and that more cars will be produced and registered in the coming weeks. On top of that, the carmaker mentioned that it has “met the required criteria for vaccinations of its employees.”
Naturally, Perodua is introducing a number of safety guidelines for those who plan to visit its showrooms and service centres. Customers have to be fully vaccinated, an appointment has to be made prior, wearing a mask is required, and physical distancing must be observed at all times.
