Mihoyo just confirmed Albedo’s banner for Genshin Impact, which will be released right after the Version 1.2 update this Wednesday on 23 December. Aside from the 5-star character Albedo, the “Secretum Secretorum” banner will also be joined by Bennett, Sucrose, and Fischl – these are some of the best 4-star characters in the game.

Just like Genshin Impact’s previous character event banners, the “drop rate” of Albedo, Bennett, Sucrose, and Fischl will be increased. In the case of Albedo, the first 5-star character you get will have a 50% chance to be him. If it’s not Albedo, the next 5-star character you roll is guaranteed to be him.

Since Genshin Impact’s pity system ensures that you will get at least one 5-star item every 90 wishes, you will have to do 180 rolls for a guaranteed Albedo.

As mentioned, the 4-star characters featured in Albedo’s banner are some of the best in Genshin Impact. Fischl – which was actually featured before in Venti’s banner – is a great bow-wielding DPS character. Sucrose, on the other hand – she appeared in Klee’s banner before – is one of the best enablers in the game, which allows for absurd damages from elemental reactions.

Bennett is also a very good enabler like Sucrose, and this is the first time he is featured on a character banner. These two characters are basically essential to any team composition that wants to take advantage of elemental reactions, making this a very good banner to spend your precious Primogems on. Plus, Fischl is a good DPS character too.
