Spy Shot: 2022 Perodua Myvi Facelift Arrives at Showrooms Ahead of Launch

The 2022 Perodua Myvi facelift will be launched tomorrow on 18 November, and it appears several units of the refreshed B-segment hatchback have arrived at a couple of showrooms. This gives us a closer look at the actual unit of the new Myvi.

These images come from Optizorb on Lowyat.NET’s forum and the Pahang Darul Makmur’s Facebook page. The Electric Blue model shown on the trailer looks to be the H variant, which is positioned just below the range-topping AV model. You can see the new front and rear bumpers of the hatchback in these shots, along with the blacked-out side mirrors.

One of the most highlighted new features of the facelifted Myvi is its Perodua Smart Drive Assist (PSDA) system, which is essentially level 2 semi-autonomous driving. This means the PSDA can control the steering and throttle input of the car in certain situations, such as highway driving.

The fact that the updated Myvi will sport this driver assistance system at this price point is a big deal. To put this into context, the updated hatchback is set to retail from RM45,700 to RM58,800. Slightly more costly than the current model’s range – RM41,292 to RM52,697 – but you are getting quite a number of noteworthy upgrades.

The 2022 Perodua Myvi facelift will debut tomorrow on 18 November at 9PM. You can catch the online launch of the new hatchback on Perodua’s YouTube channel or Facebook page. The New Myvi is also open for booking at Perodua showrooms nationwide right now or online here.
