PS5 Gets Zenless Zone Zero Beta Test – Sign-ups Now Open Until 17 April 2024

Now this is a pleasant surprise: Hoyoverse just announced that the PlayStation 5 is also getting a beta test for its upcoming game, Zenless Zone Zero. However, it’s worth noting that progress from this version of the beta will not be shared with the previously announced third beta test for PC and mobile.

That being said, there is a good chance that the content offered in the PS5 closed beta of Zenless Zone Zero will reflect that of the upcoming test for PC and mobile. If this is indeed the case, Zhu Yuan will be showcased as a new character in the test, and a faction dubbed New Eridu Public Security’s Criminal Investigation Special Response Team – yes, it’s a mouthful – will also be introduced.

Just like previous closed beta tests for Zenless Zone Zero, progress in this PS5 beta test will not be carried over to the final game, which is expected to be released sometime this year in 2024. You don’t need a PlayStation Plus membership to participate in this test either, and 40GB of space is required to install the game.

If you’re keen to sign up for the PS5 closed beta test of Zenless Zone Zero, you can do so here. The PS5 test will start on 25 April, while the beta test for the PC and mobile version will start earlier on 18 April. As usual, the end dates of the beta test for both versions will be announced at a later date.
