Unboxing the UGREEN x Honkai: Star Rail Yao Guang Gift Box

Following their first collaboration with Genshin Impact themed around Natlan character Kinich, UGREEN has now turned its attention to Honkai: Star Rail for its second HoYoverse partnership, this time centred around Yao Guang, the Arbiter-General known for strategic masterminding. The result is a collection of five themed UGREEN tech accessories alongside a Limited Collectible Gift Box.

What’s in the Box?

Opening the gift box unfolds the back portion like a fan, revealing a peacock-inspired motif drawn directly from Yao Guang’s character design. The left side of the box houses the character collectibles: a holographic ticket, an acrylic stand and a tin button badge. A soft white zippered pouch sits at the centre, dividing the collectibles from the tech accessories on the right.

On the tech side, you’ll first notice the MagFlow Air Magnetic Power Bank. At 10,000mAh with support for both wired and wireless charging simultaneously for up to three devices, it’s a capable power bank dressed in Yao Guang-inspired illustration. The slim form factor, attached cable and magnetic wireless charging make it a versatile piece of the collection for daily carry.

The Nexode Air Charger is the same 65W GaN charger we previously reviewed, now with a Yao Guang-themed treatment. It’s worth noting that our review unit with the foldable plug is the US 2-pin variant and the local version will come in a UK 3-pin plug. Paired with the charger is the Nexode Retractable USB-C Cable, which supports up to 100W fast charging and tidies itself away with a satisfying retract mechanism which is great for cable management.

Rounding out the tech accessories is the FineTrack Mini 2, the compact Apple Find My compatible tracker that we have also reviewed previously. The Honkai: Star Rail edition carries the same 110dB alert, IP68 rating and up to 2,700 location finds on a single CR2450 battery.

One thing worth mentioning is that the Nexode Pro Power Bank is also part of the broader collaboration lineup but is sold separately rather than included in the gift box.

At RM699 for the Limited Collectible Gift Box, you are paying a premium that is partly for the products and partly for the novelty of owning a piece of the collaboration. The MagFlow Air Power Bank alone retails at RM279, the Nexode Air Charger at RM129 and the cable at RM42.90, so the bundle value stacks up reasonably well when you factor in the collectibles.

For fans of Honkai: Star Rail, specifically those with an affinity for Yao Guang, this is pretty much a no-brainer. The packaging is well thought out, the character-inspired design work is consistent across every product, and the tech underneath is trusted UGREEN hardware that you’d actually use day to day.

For someone entirely indifferent to the Star Rail IP, the standard UGREEN equivalents offer the exact same performance at lower prices. But where’s the fun in that?
