Sony Introduces ULT FIELD 3, ULT FIELD 5 Speakers and ULTMIC1 Wireless Mic in Malaysia

Sony first debuted the bass and party-focused ULT POWER SOUND lineup last year. The brand has just expanded its ULT POWER SOUND series with the launch of two new wireless speakers—the ULT FIELD 3 and ULT FIELD 5—alongside a wireless microphone set, the ULTMIC1.

The ULT FIELD 3 is a compact, rugged speaker featuring a 2-way active driver system that combines a dedicated woofer and tweeter for well-rounded sound performance. Designed for portability, it comes with a detachable shoulder strap, making it ideal for on-the-go listening while cycling or skateboarding. Its signature ULT button activates ULT POWER SOUND mode, which delivers deeper and punchier bass.

Meanwhile, the ULT FIELD 5 packs a larger X-Balanced Speaker Unit for louder, distortion-free audio. The speaker includes a high-frequency tweeter for crisp treble and optimized passive radiators to enhance low-end performance. It also supports 360° Party Lights and Party Connect via Sony’s app for a more immersive, synchronized audio-visual experience during gatherings and parties.

Both speakers are built for the outdoors with IP66 and IP67 ratings for dust and water resistance. They’re also saltwater-resistant, making them beach-friendly options that can withstand harsher environments.

Sony also introduced the ULTMIC1 wireless microphone set, designed for karaoke nights and mini-concerts. Sold as a pair, these microphones connect to compatible ULT POWER SOUND speakers via a dedicated receiver. The mics are tuned for bright, natural vocal reproduction and easy plug-and-play usability.

The ULT FIELD 3 and ULT FIELD 5 are available in Black and Off White, while the ULT FIELD 3 gets an additional Forest Grey colorway. The ULT FIELD 3 and ULTMIC1 are available now, priced at RM899 and RM799 respectively. The ULT FIELD 5 will be available starting 7 July 2025 for RM1,499.
