After first being previewed at KLIMS 2024, Honda Malaysia has officially launched its first all-electric vehicle, the Honda e:N1. The EV arrives with a price tag of RM149,900.

Under the hood, the e:N1 features a 68.8kWh lithium-ion battery paired with a front-mounted electric motor that produces 150kW and 310Nm of torque. On a full charge, it offers up to 500km of range based on the NEDC cycle, or 412km on the more realistic WLTP standard.

Charging options include 10kW AC charging, which takes roughly 6 hours to go from 10% to 80%. With DC fast charging at up to 78kW, that same 30% to 80% top-up can be achieved in around 50 minutes. Drivers can toggle between three drive modes—Sport, Normal, and ECON—depending on driving preferences.

Naturally, Honda Sensing is included as standard, bringing familiar features like Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (ACC with LSF) and Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS). What’s new and exclusive to the e:N1 is the addition of Blind Spot Information (BSI) with Cross Traffic Monitor (CTM).

The e:N1 is backed by an 8-year/160,000km warranty (whichever comes first) that covers the battery and electric drive system. Also available is the Honda Insurance Plus (HiP EV) package, which provides additional coverage tailored for EV owners.

This includes protection against damage or injury while using public chargers, coverage for the EV home wall charger in the event of fire, theft, lightning, or natural disasters, loss or damage to the portable charging cable, and personal liability coverage for bodily injury or third-party property damage resulting from the use of the EV home charger.

Colour options for the Honda e:N1 include Platinum White Pearl, Aqua Topaz Metallic, and Urban Grey Pearl. Bookings can now be made through the Honda website, HondaTouch app, or any of the eight authorised Honda BEV dealerships nationwide.
