After first being previewed at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2024, the Honda e:N1 is officially launching in Malaysia on 15 May 2025. This comes following the opening of pre-orders just last month.
Touted as Honda’s first battery electric vehicle (BEV), the e:N1 is built on the new e:N Architecture F — a front-wheel-drive platform developed to deliver smooth acceleration and precise control across a variety of driving conditions.

The e:N1 is powered by a 68.8kWh lithium-ion battery and delivers up to 150kW of power and 310Nm of torque. Honda claims a driving range of up to 500km based on the NEDC standard.
While specific charging specs for the Malaysian market have yet to be confirmed, the e:N1 is expected to be similarly equipped to the Indonesian model. That version supports 78kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to go from 10% to 80% in about 45 minutes. AC charging is rated at 11kW, taking roughly six hours to reach the same level.

The Honda e:N1 is already available for booking via Honda’s online pre-booking portal and the HondaTouch app. Pricing details will be officially announced at the launch event, which we’ll be covering.
