It looks like the 2025 iteration of the ROG Flow Z13, which has not even been announced yet, is coming to Malaysia very, very soon. What makes the gaming tablet particularly interesting is the chipset under the hood, which is believed to be the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 “Strix Halo” APU – also an unannounced product.
In our routine search through SIRIM’s database, an Asus product with the model number GZ302E was registered under three different companies just today on 2 January. This is none other than the upcoming ROG Flow Z13, which was recently spotted on Geekbench with the aforementioned Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU.

Based on the Geekbench benchmark, the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU is said to perform similarly to the desktop-class Ryzen 9 7950X processor. Of course, there’s only so much a synthetic benchmark can reveal – especially this early on – but nonetheless, the upcoming chip is showing a lot of promises.
The 2025 ROG Flow Z13 is expected to be introduced next week at CES 2025. Now that the gaming tablet has been certified by SIRIM, we reckon Malaysia will be one of the first markets to get the Flow Z13 – we’ll be sure to keep a close eye on the local availability of the gaming machine.
