If you’re subscribed to Netflix through Astro, we have some good news for you. We were just told by Astro that current subscribers who have Netflix bundled in their subscription packs won’t be affected by the recent price hike until 1 March 2025.

However, the same does not apply to Astro customers who bundle Netflix as an add-on. New sign ups will be charged the new prices immediately, while existing add-on customers will be affected on or after 21 November 2024, depending on their billing cycle.

To recap, the new Netflix monthly prices now start at RM18.90 (up from RM17) for the Mobile plan, going up to RM29.90 for the Basic tier (up from RM28). Next, there’s the RM49.90 Standard plan (up from RM45), and the RM62.90 Premium tier, which was previously priced at RM55; that’s a RM7.90 price hike.
