Now that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite is official, a number of phone makers are announcing their next devices powered by the new chip. These include Realme with the Realme GT 7 Pro, which is set to be launched in Malaysia as early as next month in November.
Unless another brand launches a similar phone locally by then, the GT 7 Pro would be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone in Malaysia. Now, Realme mainly focuses on its more affordable devices on our shores, so it’s quite curious that the Chinese company is bringing its latest flagship phone here so quickly.

Beyond the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Realme didn’t reveal other features of the GT 7 Pro just yet. Nonetheless, Qualcomm’s latest chip is certainly an interesting one, featuring a second generation Qualcomm Oryon CPU that promises up to 45% faster single-core and multi-core performances. Gaming performance has been enhanced by up to 40% as well along with improved power efficiency.
The Realme GT 7 Pro will be making its debut in Malaysia sometime in November next month. If you’re eager to be one of the first to own a Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone, Realme’s latest flagship device could be worth considering. Rest assured, we will keep a close eye for any local news on the GT 7 Pro.
