The Realme 13 series has just been launched in Malaysia. Made up of two devices, the standard Realme 13 and the Realme 13+, the two phones are said to deliver “next-gen power,” while the previously launched Pro series focuses more on imaging.
Out of the two phone in the Realme 13 series, the more affordable device is the standard Realme 13, which retails at RM1,199 in Malaysia with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. As for the higher-end Realme 13+, it is priced at RM1,399 and RM1,799 for the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB models respectively.
It’s worth noting that those who purchase the 512GB model of the Realme 13+ by 18 November will receive a RM100 discount, lowering the price to RM1,699.

Powering the Realme 13+ is a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chip, which looks to be a reasonably good mid-range SoC. Other hardware of the Realme 13+ include a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system headlined by a 50MP primary shooter – the other two sensors were not detailed by Realme Malaysia – a 16MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging.
Given its more affordable nature, the Realme 13 has a more modest spec sheet. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, a 6.72-inch 2400 x 1080 display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP primary camera, a 16MP selfie shooter, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging.

The Realme 13 will be available in Malaysia for RM1,199 from 1 November next month. As for the Realme 13+, it can be purchased from this Saturday on 19 October with a RM1,399 starting price. Of course, several benefits will be bundled with every purchase of either phones, including extended warranty and screen damage warranty.
