Aside from the Predator Orion X, Acer Malaysia also launched a number of other products locally today. These include three different gaming monitors – Predator X49 V, XB323QU M3, and XB273U V3 – as well as two gamepads under the Predator and Acer Nitro brands.

Let’s start with the Predator X49 V, which retails at a cool RM4,699. For that kind of money, it features a 49-inch 5120 x 1440 panel with 1800R curvature and 32:9 ultrawide aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time, AMD FreeSync Premium, and 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Next, we have the XB323QU M3 and XB273U V3; much more affordable monitors for RM1,299 and RM899 respectively. Both gaming monitors come with a 32-inch or 27-inch 2560 x 1440 Agile-Splendor IPS panel with 180Hz refresh rate, 0.5ms grey-to-grey response time, and support for AMD FreeSync Premium. The monitors also have 95% DCI-P3 colour coverage.

Last but not least are the Predator PGR300 (RM399) and Nitro NGR300 (RM199) gamepads; we spotted the former in SIRIM’s database back in July. While both gamepads look quite similar to each other, we were told that the Predator controller comes with a dongle for reduced latency in wireless mode, which is why it costs quite a bit more. As for the Nitro model, it only supports Bluetooth for wireless connectivity.

All of these Acer products are now available for purchase in Malaysia with the exception of the Predator X49 V ultrawide gaming monitor. To sweeten the deal, discounts and freebies are offered to those who purchase the products by 22 September.
