Predator PGR300 Wireless Gamepad Coming to Malaysia Soon
July 15, 2024 Andrew Cheng

It looks like Acer will be launching a wireless gamepad under its Predator brand here in Malaysia very soon. Initially unveiled a few months ago, the gamepad offers up to three million button clicks with hall effect joysticks.

In our usual search through SIRIM’s database, we came across the PGR300. Described as a wireless remote control, it was registered with the certification body last Friday on 12 July under Acer Malaysia. Every electronic officially sold in Malaysia have to go through SIRIM’s certification first, so it’s likely that the PGR300 will be sold here soon.

Details are a little bit light on the PGR300, though it’s said to be compatible with “various gaming platforms.” Looking at the layout of the buttons, it does seem to be geared towards PC gaming. Beyond that, it also has interchangeable joysticks with different heights.

Given that the Predator PGR300 has been registered with SIRIM already, we reckon it will be offered in Malaysia very, very soon. It will be interesting to see just how much the wireless gamepad will retail at on our shores.
