The Honor MagicBook Art 14 is set to debut alongside the Honor Magic V3 foldable smartphone this Thursday on 5 September. What makes this productivity laptop particularly interesting is not just its thin, lightweight chassis. Rather, it is the removable webcam that can be slotted into the laptop when not in use.
Thanks to this unique implementation, the MagicBook Art 14 has very thin bezels surrounding the bright and vibrant 14.6-inch 3120 x 2080 OLED touch-enabled display with 120Hz refresh rate. On top of that, the webcam can even be attached (magnetically) to act as a front-facing or rear camera; very smart.

Beyond the detachable camera, the MagicBook Art 14 itself feels like a properly premium productivity laptop. It measures only 11.5mm thin, and thanks to its magnesium alloy chassis, it tips the scales at only 1.03kg. You can easily slip this into your backpack and not feel the weight of the laptop as you go about your day.
We don’t know yet the exact hardware of the MagicBook Art 14 that the Malaysian market will get, but in China, the laptop can be configured with either an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Core Ultra 7 155H processor. In its home country, the laptop is also fitted with LPDDR5X 7467MHz RAM and a 1TB SSD.

To recap, the Honor MagicBook Art 14 will be launched in Malaysia this Thursday on 5 September. Aside from the laptop, the Chinese company is also introducing two other devices on the same day, the Honor Magic V3 foldable phone and the Honor MagicPad 2 tablet.
