Initially launched in China back in July last month, the Honor Magic V3 will be making its Malaysian debut alongside the global launch of the foldable phone at IFA Berlin on 5 September next week. Measuring only 9.2mm thin when it is folded, the foldable phone gets even thinner (4.35mm) when it’s opened up.
Beyond its thin profile, the Magic V3 is also quite lightweight. Tipping the scales at 226g, the foldable phone is even lighter than some traditional bar phones. It’s worth noting that the device comes with an IPX8 rating now, an improvement over its predecessor which had no IP rating.

Other specifications of the Magic V3 include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 7.92-inch 2344 x 2156 OLED inner display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 6.43-inch 2376 x 1060 OLED cover screen (also 120Hz adaptive refresh rate), a triple camera system (50MP primary + 40MP ultra-wide + 50MP periscope telephoto), 20MP selfie cameras for the inner and outer displays, as well as a 5,150mAh battery with 66W charging.
The Honor Magic V3 will be launched in Malaysia next week on 5 September. Aside from the foldable phone, the Chinese company is also introducing two other devices on the same day, the Honor MagicPad 2 tablet and the Honor MagicBook Art 14 laptop.
