The 2025 Proton X70 is finally here! Well, sort of. The national carmaker just opened bookings for the new C-segment SUV, and it brings a slew of improvements, including a more sophisticated Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and get this: support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto!
That’s right, the new X70 infotainment system will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, making it the first Proton model to offer the two features. The SUV also comes with an upgraded “ADAS level 2” system, so chances are, it should match the ADAS functionalities of the X50, X90, and of course, the S70.
Proton’s announcement also finally gives us the first official look at the new design of the 2025 X70. As expected, it gets a new grille, headlights, and even wheel design. The interior gets a slight update as well to accommodate a new infotainment screen with an ambient light system. Oh, the Nappa leather seats now come in a new Stone Grey colour as well.
Bookings of the 2025 Proton X70 are now open at all Proton 3S and 4S showrooms nationwide; a RM500 deposit is required to place a booking. At the moment, it still remains to be seen exactly when the refreshed C-segment SUV will be launched, but given that bookings are open already, we reckon the 2025 X70 will be introduced very soon.
