Aside from iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and Apple Intelligence, macOS Sequoia is also previewed at WWDC24. One of the most touted new features coming to the update is iPhone Mirroring, which gives users full access to their iPhone from a Mac.
Not only can iPhone Mirroring on macOS Sequoia show the user’s exact iPhone – including custom wallpaper and icons – it also lets users browse and launch any apps on the smartphone. The keyboard, trackpad, and mouse of a Mac can also be used with the mirrored iPhone, and the phone will remain locked throughout the mirroring process.
Besides that, Apple also confirmed several new games that are coming to Mac. These include Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Control Ultimate Edition, and even Wuthering Waves. Personalised Spatial Audio will also be introduced, along with reduced audio latency with the 2nd generation AirPods Pro for a more immersive gaming experience.
Developer beta of macOS Sequoia is now available through the Apple Developer Program, while the public beta will be released sometime next month in July 2024 on the Apple Beta Software Program. As for the public release of macOS Sequoia, it will be available sometime in fall 2024.
