PDRM Adds 2024 Honda City 1.5L S Sedan to Its Fleet

It looks like the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is adding yet another Honda model to its fleet. This time around, it is the facelifted Honda City sedan; more specifically, the 1.5L S base model of the B-segment sedan.

A number of images and videos of the City sedan with PDRM’s livery have made their rounds on social media, including the shot below taken by @hisyvmyusof and shared by Careta. Looking at the design of the alloy wheels, we’re quite confident PDRM is getting the 1.5L S variant of the City.

Priced at RM84,900, the City 1.5L S facelift features a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine that outputs 121PS and 145Nm of torque paired to a CVT with drive sent to the front wheels. It’s also worth noting that all variants of the facelifted sedan also come with Honda Sensing ADAS capability now.

Chances are, you’ll start seeing the Honda City with PDRM’s livery on Malaysian roads very soon. The B-segment sedan joins the 11th gen Civic and 10th gen Civic, which were previously added to PDRM’s fleet in early 2024 and 2020 respectively.
