Intro Synergy, the sole distributor of Neta vehicles in Malaysia, has opened bookings for its second EV in Malaysia, the Neta X. Currently showcased at the ongoing Malaysia Autoshow 2024, the Neta X is a larger, more sophisticated electric SUV than the Neta V.

Four different variants of the Neta X are available in Malaysia: 400 Comfort, 500 Comfort, 400 Luxury, and 500 Luxury. These models are priced between RM119,900 to RM139,900, though more specific pricing will only be revealed at the official launch of the EV in the near future.

For that kind of money, the Neta X offers a front-mounted electric motor that outputs 163PS and 210Nm of torque for a 0-100kmph time of 9.5 seconds. It also has up to 401km (400 Comfort and 400 Luxury) or 480km (500 Comfort and 500 Luxury) of range, though this is based on the more lenient NEDC standard instead of WLTP.

In terms of active safety features, only the higher-end 400 Luxury and 500 Luxury variants of the Neta X get ADAS. These include Intelligent Cruise Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, and Traffic Sign Recognition.
