Launched in Malaysia back in July last year, the Nothing Phone 2 finally receives a rather generous discount locally. Unfortunately, only the higher-end 512GB model is discounted, though it’s a hefty RM700 markdown.

This brings the original RM3,499 asking price of the 512GB Nothing Phone 2 to only RM2,799. Interestingly, other Nothing products are also discounted accordingly, including the Nothing Ear 2 (RM399) and CMF Watch Pro (RM299).

Compared to last year’s Phone 1, the Phone 2 now features a reworked Glyph Interface with a slightly different design. It also features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, the chipmaker’s flagship SoC in 2022. According to Nothing, this chip brings 80% performance improvement compared to the Phone 1’s Snapdragon 778G+ processor. This makes sense, given that the 778G+ is a mid-tier offering.

Other specifications of the Phone 2 include a 6.7-inch 1080p LTPO OLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, a dual camera system made up of a 50MP main shooter – it uses the Sony IMX890 sensor, the same one used in the flagship OnePlus 11 – and a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 32MP selfie camera, as well as a 4,700mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

To recap, the Nothing Phone 2 (512GB) is currently discounted to RM2,799 in Malaysia alongside the Nothing Ear 2 (RM399) and CMF Watch Pro (RM299). Do note that these promotional prices are only valid until 14 April 2024.
