Proton is offering a pretty sweet deal for the X50. To celebrate the model crossing the 100,000 sales mark in only three years – making it the fastest-selling SUV in Malaysia, as Proton puts it – the national carmaker is offering RM7,800 worth of freebies with every purchase of the X50.

The RM7,800 Anniversary Reward for the X50 includes several neat freebies, such as a powered tailgate, security tint film, as well as an unspecified anniversary bonus. However, do note that these rewards are only applicable to selected models of the popular B-segment SUV.

Now that it’s been three years since its release, it is high time for the X50 to get a refresh. In fact, there are rumours that the SUV will be receiving a Running Change update in the near future. Chances are, this minor refresh will bring some improvements to the X50.
