Over the past few days, Honkai: Star Rail has teased three new characters: Jingliu, Topaz & Numby, as well as Guinaifen. As per previous teasers for Star Rail – as well as Hoyoverse’s other big title, Genshin Impact – it is likely these three characters will be playable in Version 1.4 of the game.

Both Jingliu and Topaz & Numby are 5-star characters, while Guinaifen is a 4-star unit. Jingliu is an Ice character that walks the Path of the Destruction, while Topaz & Numby wield the Fire element under the Path of the Hunt. As for Guinaifen, she is a fire Nihility unit.

Looking at their Paths, Jingliu and Topaz & Numby are likely DPS characters, while Guinaifen could be a debuffer as a Nihility unit. Of course, these are just our own educated guesses based on details that have been revealed by Hoyoverse already.

Nonetheless, we may learn more about these new characters on the Honkai: Star Rail livestream for the Version 1.3 update tomorrow on 18 August. Imbibitor Lunae and Fu Xuan will make an appearance on the stream, so both of them (alongside Lynx) should be playable in Star Rail 1.3.
