A new character is set to arrive in Honkai: Star Rail very soon. Hoyoverse just dropped a teaser for Imbibitor Lunae, and it’s likely that the character will be playable in Version 1.3 of the game. After all, this is the same strategy Hoyoverse uses for Genshin Impact.

Not much has been revealed for Imbibitor Lunae yet, aside from the fact that he is a 5-star Imaginary character that walks the Path of the Destruction. Like other Destruction characters, there’s a good chance he will be able to deal a high amount of damage with good survivability.

It’s also worth noting that Imbibitor Lunae bears a striking resemblance to Dan Heng, who is a 4-star Wind character under the Path of The Hunt. It will be interesting to see how the two characters are linked to each other, or if Imbibitor Lunae is Dan Heng’s alternate form.

Nonetheless, we might learn more about Imbibitor Lunae on 8 July this Saturday on the Honkai: Star Rail livestream for the Version 1.2 update, which looks to feature both Kafka and Blade. We reckon the two characters – including Luka – will be playable in Star Rail 1.2.
