Samsung’s range of foldable phones for 2023 have just been introduced. Made up of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, the former is a much more exciting device, while the Fold 5 is…well, more of an incremental upgrade.

Nonetheless, Samsung’s 2023 foldable phones are still unmistakably high-end, premium devices. Both are powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and the two of them now feature a gapless design too – there’s no more gap between the two halves of the flexible screen when they are folded.

As for pricing, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 starts at RM4,499 – that’s a RM100 increase over its predecessor – while the larger Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 retails from RM6,799; the exact same price tag as last year’s Z Fold 4, which is great.
