We spotted the iQOO Z7 in SIRIM’s database last month, and today, the Chinese company confirmed that the phone, alongside the iQOO Z7X, are set to arrive here in Malaysia on 10 April. One of the headline features of the iQOO Z7 series is 120W fast charging, though only the Z7 supports the feature.
Without a doubt the Z7 is the higher-end offering. Aside from its 120W charging capability, it also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, a 6.64-inch 1080p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a dual camera system (64MP main + 2MP depth), a 16MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.
As for the iQOO Z7x, it has a more modest list of specs. These include a Snapdragon 695 processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, a 6.64-inch 1080p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a dual camera system (50MP primary + 2MP depth), an 8MP selfie camera, and a generous 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
The iQOO Z7 and iQOO Z7x will be launched in Malaysia next week on 10 April. We’ll find out then just how much the two phones will be priced at for our local market.
