Vivo Malaysia will be launching its latest flagship smartphones on our shores early next month. The local launch event of the Vivo X90 series is set to take place on 3 February 2023, and two phones in the series – X90 and X90 Pro – will be offered in Malaysia.
That’s right, Vivo Malaysia confirmed that only the X90 and X90 Pro are launching in Malaysia on that day, which is in line with our reports on the SIRIM certifications of the X90 and X90 Pro. Unfortunately, the higher-end X90 Pro+ won’t make an appearance at the launch event.

Anyway, despite being the more affordable model, the Vivo X90 still features a Zeiss-branded triple camera system made up of a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 12MP portrait lens. It also features a 6.78-inch 2800 x 1260 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 32MP selfie camera, up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage, as well as a 4,810mAh battery.
As for the X90 Pro, it has a more sophisticated Zeiss camera setup headlined by a 50MP main shooter with a large 1-inch sensor for improved camera performance. Complementing the primary camera are a 50MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide angle shooter.
Beyond its camera configuration, other hardware of the X90 Pro are similar to the standard X90, though it does have a slightly larger 4,870mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.

To recap, the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro will be launched in Malaysia early next month on 3 February 2023. While there’s no mention of the X90 Pro+, it’s possible that the company will introduce the device here at a later date.
