Vivo Malaysia just confirmed the local availability of its latest flagship smartphones, the Vivo X90 series. The lineup consists of the X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+, and at least two of them are set to be available in Malaysia.
The local availability of the X90 series was confirmed by Vivo Malaysia on its Facebook page. Though the Chinese company didn’t specify which phones in the series will be available here, we’ve previously reported on the SIRIM certifications of the X90 and X90 Pro, so these two models should be sold here.
Despite being the most affordable model, the Vivo X90 still features a Zeiss-branded triple camera system made up of a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 12MP portrait lens. It also features a 6.78-inch 2800 x 1260 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 32MP selfie camera, up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage, as well as a 4,810mAh battery.
As for the X90 Pro, it has a more sophisticated Zeiss camera setup headlined by a 50MP main shooter with a large 1-inch sensor for improved camera performance. Complementing the primary camera are a 50MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide angle shooter.
Beyond its camera configuration, other hardware of the X90 Pro are similar to the standard X90, though it does have a slightly larger 4,870mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
Although the Vivo X90 series is confirmed for the Malaysian market already, it remains to be seen exactly when it will be launched on our shores. We’ll keep a close eye for any relevant updates, especially on the local availability of the range-topping X90 Pro+.
