Just a few days before the Version 3.0 update goes live, Hoyoverse is teasing three new characters coming to Genshin Impact. These characters are Nilou, Cyno, and Candace, and all three of them should be playable in the Version 3.1 update.

Typically, characters that are teased by Hoyoverse are playable in the next version update of Genshin Impact, so there’s no reason the same wouldn’t apply to these three Sumeru characters. Unfortunately, the rarity of the new characters has not been revealed yet.

That being said, Hoyoverse did show the elements that the characters wield. Both Nilou and Candace are Hydro characters, while Cyno possesses an Electro vision. Based on her teaser image, there’s a chance Nilou is a catalyst user too. As for Candace and Cyno, they look to be wielding spears.

Expect Nilou, Cyno, and Candace to be playable characters in Genshin Impact 3.1, which is set to be released on 28 September. This is only about a month away, and compared to previous updates, this is a shorter time period.

According to Hoyoverse, this timing will be applicable until the Version 3.3 update of Genshin Impact.
