Genshin Impact’s next major update is coming next week on 24 August! The Version 3.0 update will introduce the new Sumeru region, alongside the seventh (and final) element in the game: Dendro. Of course, characters wielding the new element will be playable next week too.
Two Dendro characters will make their debuts in Genshin Impact 3.0: Tighnari and Collei. Both of them are archers, though Tighnari is a 5-star character, while Collei is a 4-star unit. They will be featured in the same banner, though it’s worth noting that Collei will be given for free to players who complete 3.0’s main seasonal event, Graven Innocence.
Interestingly, Tighnari isn’t an event-exclusive character either: he will be added to the standard event wish after the Version 3.1 update.

Of course, with the introduction of these new Dendro characters, the element itself can finally be utilised by players in Genshin Impact 3.0. Depending on which element it’s applied with, you’ll get different reactions. We imagine the team lineup meta in the game will change quite a bit with the addition of Dendro.
Last but not least is the new Sumeru region in Genshin Impact Version 3.0. Located to the west of Liyue, Sumeru is divided into two main parts: rainforest and desert. It is also known as the Nation of Wisdom, where knowledge is treated as a resource that is strictly managed.
Chances are, this will be one of the main plots in the new Archon quests surrounding Sumeru.

Genshin Impact 3.0 will arrive next week on 24 August. The first phase of the event wish will feature Tighnari, Collei, and even Zhongli, while the second phase will see the rerun banners of Ganyu and Sangonomiya Kokomi alongside Dori, a new 4-star Electro Sumeru character.
