Huawei just revealed the Malaysian pricing and early bird promo of its latest flagship laptop, the Huawei MateBook X Pro. Now powered by Intel’s 12th gen processor, it also features two new colourways with a unique finish.

For the Malaysian market, the MateBook X Pro retails at a cool RM9,999. For that kind of money, you’re getting a 12th gen Intel Core i7-1260P processor paired with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. Early birds can also enjoy RM1,927 worth of freebies, including two Huawei Sound Joy speakers and Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021.

As mentioned, the MateBook X Pro is now offered in two new colours: the model you see above is the Ink Blue option, which features a unique matte, almost rubbery finish. This gives the magnesium alloy chassis of the laptop a premium look and feel. If you’re not a fan of the Ink Blue colourway, there’s the White version.

Other specifications of the MateBook X Pro include a 14.2-inch 3120 x 2080 touch-enabled display with a 90Hz refresh rate – the 3:2 aspect ratio is great for productivity tasks – Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, a 60Wh battery, as well as a 15.6mm chassis that tips the scales at 1.26kg.
