At Huawei’s Smart Office launch in Bangkok, Thailand, the Chinese company introduced a slew of products for the APAC region, including the new Huawei MateBook X Pro. Now powered by Intel’s 12th gen processor, it also features two new colourways.
The MateBook X Pro you see here is the Ink Blue model, which features a unique matte, almost rubbery finish. This gives the magnesium alloy chassis of the laptop a premium look and feel. If you’re not a fan of the Ink Blue colourway, there’s the White version.

As mentioned, the new MateBook X Pro comes with Intel’s 12th gen processor; more specifically, a Core i7-1260P chip. This 12-core processor looks to be the only option for this premium laptop. Aside from that, it’s also a slim, lightweight laptop with a 15.6mm chassis that tips the scales at 1.26kg.
Other specifications of the MateBook X Pro include a 14.2-inch 3120 x 2080 touch-enabled display with a 90Hz refresh rate – the 3:2 aspect ratio is great for productivity tasks – Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 1TB of SSD storage, and a 60Wh battery.

The brand new Huawei MateBook X Pro will be coming to Malaysia on 19 August 2022 next month. Given its premium appeal, expect it to carry an equally premium price tag.
