At PlayStation’s State of Play event, Guerrilla Games revealed a new update for Horizon Forbidden West. Not only is it getting a New Game+ mode, there are also a slew of quality of life improvements, not to mention a new Ultra Hard difficulty.
As with most New Game+ mode, it allows you to play through Horizon Forbidden West from the beginning again with your endgame gear. Of course, it also improves the game’s replay value, especially for those who have finished all the side quests.
On top of that, the new update also adds a number of quality of life improvements. The transmog feature, for one, allows players to customise the looks of their equipped outfit. You can also reset your skill points and redistribute them to try out a different playstyle.
The new Horizon Forbidden West update is now live on both the PS5 and PS4. Looking forward, Guerrilla Games is also working on a new patch that includes support for variable refresh rate and a 40fps mode.
