The much anticipated Yae Miko is finally coming to Genshin Impact this Wednesday on 16 February. The event wish for the 5-star Electro character will be accompanied by Thoma, Fischl, and Diona.
Just like Genshin Impact’s previous character event wishes, the “drop rate” of Yae Miko, Thoma, Fischl, and Diona will be increased. In the case of Yae, the first 5-star character you get will have a 50% chance to be her. If you got a different character, the next 5-star character you roll is guaranteed to be Yae.
Since Genshin Impact’s pity system for character banners ensures that you will get at least one 5-star character every 90 wishes, you will have to do 180 rolls for a guaranteed Yae Miko. The same rule applies to 4-star characters (guaranteed every 10-roll instead), but given that there are three of them featured in the banner, it’s a little bit more random.
Basically, when you’re guaranteed a 4-star character from the banner, you will get either Thoma, Fischl, or Diona. If you’re aiming to get either one of these three characters, you will likely have to roll a good number of times, depending on your luck.
Yae Miko’s “Everbloom Violet” event wish will go live in Genshin Impact on 16 February 2022 this Wednesday. Her banner will be available right after the Version 2.5 update until 8 March – it’ll be replaced by the Raiden Shogun’s and Sangonomiya Kokomi’s event wishes then.
