2022 Perodua Myvi Facelift Pricing Leaks – Only RM2,200 Difference Between 1.3L & 1.5L Models?
November 17, 2021 Andrew Cheng

Here’s yet another leak on the 2022 Perodua Myvi facelift! While Perodua has revealed the price range of the upcoming B-segment hatchback, there was no specific breakdown; until now. If this leaked price list is accurate, there’s only a RM2,200 difference between the 1.3L and 1.5L models.

Just like the leaked spec sheet, this alleged price list of the facelifted Myvi comes from Optizorb on Lowyat.NET’s forum. According to the list, the most affordable 1.5L G base model costs RM45,700, while the same trim with ASA 3.0 (AEB, basically) costs RM47,700. You’re effectively paying RM2,000 more to get the safety feature.

Moving up the price list is the 1.5L X variant, which costs RM49,900, followed by the 1.5L H model for RM53,900. Last but certainly not least is the 1.5L AV trim; this range-topping Myvi facelift with all the bells and whistles costs RM58,800. It is also the only model to get the full Perodua Smart Drive Assist (PSDA) system.

Essentially, PSDA gives the AV variant of the new Myvi level 2 semi-autonomous driving, thanks to the combination of Adaptive Cruise Control (throttle operation) and Lane Keep Control (steering). It remains to be seen how well these two systems would perform on the refreshed Myvi, though they should be good enough to meet the requirements of level 2 semi-autonomous driving.

Given that this price list did not come from Perodua itself, there is a chance it is inaccurate; we’ll only know for sure once the 2022 Perodua Myvi facelift debuts tomorrow on 18 November at 9PM. You can catch the online launch of the new hatchback on Perodua’s YouTube channel or Facebook page.

The updated Myvi is also open for booking at Perodua showrooms nationwide right now or online here.
