The all-new Acer Swift X has just been launched in Malaysia. Sporting an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU in a 17.9mm thin chassis, this is quite an interesting productivity-focused laptop that can also double as a reasonably capable gaming machine.

Two variants of the Swift X are offered for the Malaysian market. The base model (RM4,299) features an AMD Ryzen 5 5600U processor paired with 8GB of RAM, while the higher-end RM4,999 configuration comes with a faster Ryzen 7 5800U chip and 16GB of RAM.

Beyond the different processor and RAM capacity, both variants of the Swift X share the same hardware. First and foremost, the Swift X is a thin and light laptop. Measuring only 17.9mm thin, its chassis tips the scales at only 1.39kg. Oh, it also come with a 512GB SSD storage.

In the display department, the Swift X features a 14-inch Full HD IPS screen with an 85.7% screen-to-body ratio; a relatively good ratio for a modern, sleek-looking laptop. The screen has a brightness of 300 nits with 100% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut too.

The Acer Swift X will be available for purchase in Malaysia from 6 to 20 October 2021. Those who place an order for the laptop in this time period can also get the Logitech MX Anywhere 3 mouse with 50% discount, bringing down the price to only RM199.
