Now that the iPhone 13 series is here, Apple has revised the prices of the iPhone 12 family. Previously starting at RM3,399, you can now get the 2020 iPhone from only RM2,899 – that’s quite a big RM500 price difference.
Of course, the RM2,899 starting price is for the iPhone 12 mini with 64GB of storage. If you want the more generous 128GB or 256GB models instead, that will set you back RM3,099 and RM3,599 respectively; these prices are lower by RM500 compared to their launch pricing.
As for the larger iPhone 12, it received the same amount of price cut. The 64GB variant costs RM3,399, while the 128GB and 256GB configurations go for RM3,599 and RM4,099 respectively. Given that both the iPhone 12 and 12 mini are still very capable devices in 2021, they’re certainly worth considering if the iPhone 13 series is out of your budget.
However, even with this price cut for the iPhone 12 family, you may still want to consider the iPhone 13 series instead. After all, the iPhone 13 and 13 mini now offers 128GB of storage in the base model, which go for RM3,399 and RM3,899 respectively – that’s just a RM300 price difference compared to their predecessors with the same amount of storage.
You’re also getting other neat upgrades introduced in the iPhone 13 series, including a 20% smaller display notch, better performance from the A15 Bionic chip, and improved battery life. You can learn more about the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini here.
