The bigger, more feature-packed iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are also introduced alongside the standard iPhone 13 models. What separates the Pro models from the regular ones are a number of features, including a 120Hz display, an ultra-wide angle camera with autofocus capability, and get this: a whopping 1TB of internal storage.

So how much does a 1TB iPhone 13 Pro cost? Well, for the Malaysian market, it will set you back a cool RM7,199. If you just need a modest 128GB storage instead, you only have to fork out RM4,899.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max with 1TB of storage, on the other hand, costs an eye-watering RM7,599. What about the 128GB model? That particular configuration retails at RM5,299.

For that kind of money, both the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max feature a Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion, which offers an adaptive refresh rate from 10Hz to 120Hz. These are the first iPhones to sport such a high refresh rate.

Naturally, the screen quality of the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max gets some other neat upgrades too. With a max outdoor brightness of 1000 nits, this is said to be the brightest screen ever on an iPhone. The notch is also 20% smaller now, so you get a sleeker, more modern-looking phone.

While the Pro models of the iPhone 13 series are also powered by Apple’s new A15 Bionic chip, they actually have a more powerful 5-core GPU. According to the Cupertino company, this GPU is 50% faster than “the leading competition.” In fact, it is touted to offer the fastest graphics performance on any smartphone.

The triple camera system of the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max has been overhauled too. There’s now a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, and get this: a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens with autofocus capability. This allows the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max to capture macro shots, much like Samsung’s Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Battery life of the iPhone 13 Pro has been improved as well. Thanks to the new A15 Bionic chip, iOS 15’s power efficiency, and a larger battery, the iPhone 13 Pro can last up to 1.5 hours longer than its predecessor. As for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, it offers up to 2.5 hours more battery life than the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be available for pre-order in Malaysia from 1 October onwards. Just like the standard iPhone 13 models, deliveries for the Pro variants will also begin on 8 October.
