Not long after it was announced that the dosing interval for the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine has been shortened to nine weeks from 12, it appears appointments for the second dose have been rolled out in the MySejahtera app. Of course, this second appointment will only be received by those who were in the first opt-in for the vaccine.

A fair number of my colleagues – as well as myself – who were in the first opt-in for the AstraZeneca vaccine have already received our appointments for the second dose in MySejahtera. In fact, it is exactly nine weeks after I received my first dose. Naturally, the second appointment is at the very same PPV centre as well.

If you were part of the first opt-in for the AstraZeneca vaccine, check your vaccination page in the MySejahtera app – you may have been given an appointment already. If you have, make sure to confirm your appointment!
