Kaedehara Kazuha, the first playable character from Inazuma, is coming to Genshin Impact on 29 June. The banner of the brand new 5-star Anemo character has been revealed too – he will be accompanied by Rosaria, Bennet, as well as Razor.
Just like Genshin Impact’s previous character event banners, the “drop rate” of Kazuha, Rosaria, Bennett, and Razor will be increased. In the case of Kazuha, the first 5-star character you get will have a 50% chance to be him. If you didn’t get him in this instance, the next 5-star character you roll is guaranteed to be Kazuha.
Genshin Impact’s pity system ensures that you will get at least one 5-star character or weapon every 90 wishes – depending on which banner you’re rolling – so you will have to do 180 rolls for a guaranteed Kazuha. The same rule applies to 4-star units (guaranteed every 10-roll instead), but since there are three of them featured in the event wish, it’s a little bit more random.
Basically, when you’re guaranteed a 4-star character from the banner, you will get either Rosaria, Bennett, or Razor. If you’re aiming to get either one of these three characters, you will have to roll a good number of times, depending on your luck.
Kazuha’s “Leaves in the Wind” event wish will go live in Genshin Impact on 29 June this Tuesday at 6PM for us here in Malaysia. His banner will be available until 20 July, and we expect Kazuha’s event wish to be replaced by either Kamisato Ayaka or Yoimiya shortly after – both are Inazuma characters that have been revealed by Mihoyo.
