If you’ve missed Klee’s event wish in Genshin Impact last year, great news: her banner is returning to the game this Wednesday on 9 June. The 5-star Pyro character will be accompanied by Fischl, Sucrose, as well as Barbara.
Just like Genshin Impact’s previous character event banners, the “drop rate” of Klee, Fischl, Sucrose, and Barbara will be increased. In the case of Klee, the first 5-star character you get will have a 50% chance to be her. If you didn’t get her in this instance, the next 5-star character you roll is guaranteed to be Klee.
Genshin Impact’s pity system ensures that you will get at least one 5-star character or weapon every 90 wishes – depending on which banner you’re rolling – so you will have to do 180 rolls for a guaranteed Klee. The same rule applies to 4-star units (guaranteed every 10-roll instead), but since there are three of them featured in the event wish, it’s a little bit more random.
Basically, when you’re guaranteed a 4-star character from the banner, you will get either Fischl, Sucrose, or Barbara. If you’re aiming to get either one of these three characters, you will have to roll a good number of times, depending on your luck.
Klee’s “Sparkling Steps” banner will go live in Genshin Impact right after the Version 1.6 update on 9 June, which should be done by 11AM for us here in Malaysia. Klee’s event wish will be available until 29 June; Kaedehara Kazuha – a new 5-star Anemo character – will replace her banner then.
