Only one variant of the new Nitro 5 is available for the Malaysian market. Retailing at RM5,499, you can get a RM500 discount if you place your pre-order today on Shopee or Lazada, bringing down the price to only RM4,999. According to the listings, the Nitro 5 will start shipping by the end of this month.

For that kind of money, you’re getting a reasonably powerful gaming laptop. As mentioned, the Nitro 5 now comes with Nvidia’s relatively new RTX 3060 GPU. Paired with an Intel Core i7-10750H, this laptop should be able to run most – if not all – AAA games quite well.

Other specifications of the Nitro 5 include a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS screen with a fast 144Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, as well as a four-zone RGB keyboard. Decent hardware for the money here, though we would definitely recommend upgrading the RAM to 16GB.
