Proton will be unveiling four new limited edition models this Thursday on 18 February, and it appears two of them – the Proton Iriz R3 and Persona Black Edition – have made their way to showrooms already. These images give us a closer look at the soon to be launched models.

These images were first spotted by Funtasticko on Facebook. Out of the two aforementioned models, the Iriz R3 is seen much more extensively. Both the exterior and interior are shown quite a bit, and as previous leaks have indicated, the R3-branded Iriz sports a black and yellow colour scheme, much like the Proton Saga Anniversary Edition.

On the outside, the Iriz R3 has yellow streaks across the front grille, side skirts, as well as the lower bumpers on the front and rear. The side mirrors are also finished in yellow, and of course, there’s even an R3 badge on the back of the car, complete with an R3-branded spoiler.

The same black and yellow colour scheme continues in the interior of the Iriz R3. Yellow highlights are found on the air vents, stitching on the steering wheel, instrument cluster, and even the controls for the air-conditioning. There’s also an “R3 Limited Edition” badge on the left side of the dashboard.

As for the Persona Black Edition, only the exterior of the B-segment sedan is seen. As its name suggests, it comes with a black paint job, and if you look closely at the image below, you can even see the Exora Black Edition right behind the Persona.

The Proton Iriz R3, Saga R3, Persona Black Edition, and Exora Black Edition will be officially unveiled this Thursday on 18 February at 11AM on Proton’s Facebook page.
